We have a work computer with activated Windows 11 Home. We need Windows 11 PRO to connect it to the company domain. "When Windows is updated through the Microsoft Store, it detects whether the current Windows 11 Home Edition installation has been activated and follows the appropriate instructions."

  1. Will I be asked to pay online for the upgrade?
  2. Do I need a company credit card to make the purchase?
  3. Will I receive a VAT invoice, and if so, what form will it take for accounting purposes? My company requires a document in the appropriate format, including: have a European Tax Identification Number (NIP) for VAT deduction,
  4. If point 3 is OK, how will the VAT invoice be delivered to me?
  5. If the purchase process is successful, will the license type be silently changed in the system - automatically, or are any manual actions required? Or receive  individual activation product Key ?
