Keyboard 10 keep and cursor

Thank you for reaching out. If the numeric keypad (10-key) is not entering numbers and the Num Lock light does not stay on, the keypad may be operating in navigation mode instead of numeric mode.

As a first step, please press the Num Lock key once and test the keypad in Notepad. If the issue continues, go to Settings > Accessibility > Mouse and make sure Mouse Keys is turned Off, as this feature may cause the numeric keypad to control the mouse pointer rather than type numbers.

You can also check Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard and temporarily turn off Sticky Keys, Filter Keys, and Toggle Keys. These accessibility features may sometimes affect keyboard behavior.

If the problem persists, please open Device Manager, expand Keyboards, right-click your keyboard, select Uninstall device, and then restart the computer. Windows will automatically reinstall the keyboard driver during startup.

As an additional test, please connect the keyboard to another computer, if available. If the issue persists, the keyboard may be faulty. If it works normally, the issue is likely related to a setting or driver on the current device.

• Are you using a desktop keyboard or a laptop?
• Which version of Windows are you running?
• Does the Num Lock light turn on briefly or does it never light up at all?
