A family of Microsoft spreadsheet software with tools for analyzing, charting, and communicating data
Hi Sterling,
Good day. Thank you for reaching out, and I appreciate you sharing the details of your issue.
To assist you more effectively, could you please provide a few additional details?
- Are you using a Microsoft personal account (Outlook.com/Hotmail), or a work/school account provided by an organization (Microsoft 365/Exchange)?
- When you search for “Excel” on your iPad using Spotlight Search, does the app appear?
- When you try to reinstall Excel from the App Store, do you receive any error message? If yes, please share a screenshot or the exact message.
- What iPad model and iPadOS version are you currently using?
- Are you signed in to the same Apple ID that was originally used to download Excel on the iPad?
In the meantime, you may try the following workarounds:
- Search for Excel from the iPad Home Screen by swiping down and typing “Excel.”
- Check the App Library to see if Excel is still installed but hidden from the Home Screen.
- Open the App Store, search for “Microsoft Excel,” and try downloading it again.
- Restart your iPad, then check the App Store again.
- If needed, you may access your Excel files from your MacBook or through Excel for the web at https://www.office.com
Please feel free to share the necessary information in the comment below. Once I have it, I'll be better positioned to guide you through the next steps.
I'm looking forward to hearing your thoughts.
Thank you again for your understanding and cooperation.
