Microsoft 365 disappeared from my I Pad

I had Excel on my I Pad for years. It just disappeared and I've tried for a week to get it back. It's also on my Macbook.

To assist you more effectively, could you please provide a few additional details?

Are you using a Microsoft personal account (Outlook.com/Hotmail), or a work/school account provided by an organization (Microsoft 365/Exchange)?
When you search for “Excel” on your iPad using Spotlight Search, does the app appear?
When you try to reinstall Excel from the App Store, do you receive any error message? If yes, please share a screenshot or the exact message.
What iPad model and iPadOS version are you currently using?
Are you signed in to the same Apple ID that was originally used to download Excel on the iPad?

In the meantime, you may try the following workarounds:

Search for Excel from the iPad Home Screen by swiping down and typing “Excel.”
Check the App Library to see if Excel is still installed but hidden from the Home Screen.
Open the App Store, search for “Microsoft Excel,” and try downloading it again.
Restart your iPad, then check the App Store again.
If needed, you may access your Excel files from your MacBook or through Excel for the web at https://www.office.com
