    Hello Adam,

Thank you for posting question on Microsoft Windows Forum!

Based on your query of converting booklet format back to normal format in your recently added canon c5860. Well! If your Canon imageRUNNER ADVANCE DX C5860 is defaulting to booklet, 2-up layout, or a specific finishing format (even for the Windows test print), it means the Printing Defaults on the print server or local machine are locked into that layout. Changing it inside an application like Word will nott stick. You need to change it at the driver level.

The suggestion here is to open printer properties as Admin. Then go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers. Right-click your Canon C5860, hover over Printer properties (not Printing preferences), and select the printer queue. Then click the Advanced tab at the top, then click the Printing Defaults... button at the bottom. This ensures the change applies to all users and system-generated pages like test prints. Then Look at the Page Setup tab. Ensure Page Layout is set to 1 Page per Sheet and that Manual Scaling/Booklet options are turned off. Switch to the Finishing tab. Under Print Style, change it from Booklet Printing or 2-sided Printing back to 1-sided Printing (if you want single-sided by default) or standard 2-sided Printing without imposition. Click Apply, then OK. Back on the main Properties window, switch back to the General tab and send a Print Test Page to verify it is back to normal.

If the problem persists, the default layout might be set on the printer itself. Try these steps. On the printer's control panel, press the Settings/Registration button. Navigate to Function Settings > Common > Print Settings. Look for options related to "Booklet", "Layout", or "Finishing" and ensure they are set to their default or "Off" state.

Please note: Making sure you are using the Canon PCL6 or UFR II driver for the C5860 and avoid a generic Windows driver if possible.

Hope the above information is helpful!
