My Wi-Fi stops working every 30-50 minutes

Hi, I'm using Windows 10 Pro with the latest version of extended security update of Windows 10. There weren't any problems with my Wi-Fi, but recently, it started to disconnected randomly. I usually fix this issue using that default problem solver? thign on Win10. But even after that solution, it just disconnects again after like 30 to 40-ish minutes. I don't know why it happens. On that problem sover thing, it said the wifi thingyi cannot connect to the default gateway or some cows like that.

I have already tried to:

  • Reset Wi-Fi adapter (both turn-off and turn-on again and reinstalling)
  • flushdns
  • ipconfig release and then ipconfig renew
  • reinstalling OS for repair (the one that all the system files and installed apps are not removed through installation media)
  • Updating Wi-Fi driver to the latest version

The Wi-Fi adapter that I'm using is ASUS USB-AX56 Wireless USB Adapter, and Wi-Fi machine? that I'm using is HUAWEI WiFi AX3 (because I'm located in China). Is there anyway to resolve this annoying errors? Please help... I'm freaking out

The situation disconnecting from Wi-Fi and showing default gateway is often related to connection issue between your computer and the router. It might be caused by driver issue, device issue, router issue, or compatibility issue.

Please try these workarounds to see if they can help improve your connection stability:

  • If you are using DHCP, try switching to Static IP / Manual IP for your system.
  • Access your Router control panel, then find the settings for DHCP. There's a setting like "DHCP Timeout" which is an integer, often in seconds. Increase it to something like 86400 (1 day), your issue should be less often.

    Hi MikuMikuBeaaam,

    Do you have a desktop PC or a laptop?

    Are the router and computer in the same room or in different rooms or on different floors of the house? Temporarily move the computer closer to the router and try connecting again, then see if the problem resolves.
