If Clipchamp (both web and app) is not opening, try these steps that are known to resolve loading problems:
- Confirm hardware and browser support
- Use a desktop or laptop (not a tablet/phone).
- Use Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome.
- Update Edge/Chrome to the latest version and ensure the operating system is up to date.
- Make sure the Windows app is on the latest version
- On Windows, open the Microsoft Store and update the Clipchamp app to the latest version. If you have an older version, an Update notification will appear when launching it.
- For work/school accounts, availability of the Clipchamp Windows app depends on it being enabled by the Microsoft 365 administrator.
- If projects or the editor page are stuck loading
- Refresh the page (Ctrl+F5 or browser reload) and ensure the internet connection is active.
- Close other apps/tabs to free memory and verify there is enough free disk space on the internal drive.
- Temporarily disable browser extensions (especially ad blockers, privacy, translation plugins), then reload Clipchamp.
- As an advanced step, clear site data for Clipchamp using Developer Tools in Edge/Chrome (Application → Storage → Clear site data), then reload and reopen the project.
