A service that simplifies device provisioning and setup for end users, enabling zero-touch deployment
Adjust Windows Firewall to allow the app instead of turning the firewall off.
- Open the Windows Security app.
- Select Firewall & network protection (or use the shortcut: Firewall & network protection).
- Select Allow an app through firewall.
- Select Change settings and approve the UAC prompt if asked.
- Look for the iMazing app in the list:
- If it’s listed, check the boxes for the network types (Private/Public) that should be allowed.
- If it’s not listed, select Allow another app, browse to the iMazing executable, and add it, then check the appropriate boxes.
- Select OK to save.
If the app still cannot connect and a specific port is required, a port rule can be added, but this is more risky:
- In Firewall & network protection, select Advanced settings.
- Select Inbound Rules.
- Under Actions, select New Rule… and follow the wizard to open the required port.
Only allow apps or open ports that are truly needed, and remove them when no longer required to reduce security risk.
