Microsoft office through Azure

As far as Im aware, Azure for Students does not give you access to Word or Excel. It does give you Azure credits though.

In terms of free Word and Excel, I believe that is tied to Microsoft 365 for Students, which is activated using your school or university email address:

1. Go to https://www.microsoft.com/education/products/office
2. Click Get started for free
3. Enter your student email (work/school account)
4. Once approved, sign in at https://www.office.com

Depending on your school you'll either have an A1 which is Web Apps only or an A3/A5 license which gives you access to desktop apps as well.

If you have any issues accessing Word and Excel with your school account then best reach out to the IT department there.

Can you please go to https://portal.office.com/account/?ref=Harmony#subscriptions and log in with Azure account for students?

Check if you see M365 apps like Word, Excel are included there. It could be under your Azure for Students or A1/3/5 subscription from your university.

From my research, Azure for Students does not include M365 apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

If you see A1 in your Harmony portal, that means you can access Word/Excel on the web only.

If you see A3/5 in your Harmony portal, you will have access to Word/Excel on your Mac. You just need to sign in with that account and the apps will be activated.
