As far as I know, the 500 error – OwaUserHasNoMailboxAndNoLicenseAssignedException indicates that your account currently does not have an active mailbox or a valid email license assigned. As a result, Outlook on the web is unable to load your mailbox and returns a server error.
Since this is a school account, the issue is typically not related to your browser or device, but rather a configuration issue on your university’s side. This could be due to a missing or expired Exchange Online license, or a mailbox that has not yet been provisioned.
To troubleshoot it, please contact your university’s IT support team/ administrator and ask them to verify the following:
Your account has an Exchange Online (email) license assigned.
Your mailbox has been successfully created and is active.
If the license was recently assigned, note that it may take some time for the mailbox to finish provisioning.
When contacting support, you can also provide them with this error code to help them diagnose the issue more efficiently.
I hope this helps.
Please understand that our initial reply may not always immediately resolve the issue. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.
