    Dear @Connor Bunting,

I understand it can be quite frustrating, especially when you already have Owner permissions on the Team. ‌Therefore, to better understand the problem, could you please help confirm a few details below?

    • When you click the Planner/Tasks tab in Teams, what exactly do you see (for example: “You do not have access,” blank page, or something else)? A screenshot would be very helpful if possible.‌
    • Is the issue affecting only you, or are other members of the same Team also experiencing it?
    • Are you the owner of the Planner? Are you also listed as an owner or member of the underlying Microsoft 365 Group associated with that Team?

According to my research, planner access is tied to the underlying Microsoft 365 Group and the specific plan, so it’s possible for permissions to become out of sync even if you’re still listed as an Owner.‌

First, please try accessing the plan directly via the Planner for web.‌ Next, you can ask another Team Owner (or your admin) to remove your account from the Team, wait a few minutes, and then add you back again. ‌For reference: Add people to your plans

If the issue still persists, I recommend reaching out to your IT administrator to verify your access at the Microsoft 365 Group level. They can check whether your account is correctly listed as a member of the group associated with the Team and ensure the permissions are properly applied. If there is a sync issue, they may need to remove and re-add your account or refresh the group membership from the admin side. For reference: Add or remove members from Microsoft 365 groups using the admin center

Note: If you do not know who your IT Admin is, please refer to this article: How do I find my Microsoft 365 admin?

Please understand that as a forum moderator, my role is to provide general guidance and troubleshooting support. I don’t have access to internal systems or backend tools, and I appreciate your understanding of these limits.

I hope the information shared is helpful. Please try the steps above and let me know if they work. If not, we can continue working together to narrow this down.

The first response may not always resolve the issue right away, but with your help and more details, we can work toward a solution.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. I'm looking forward for your reply.
