I'm using A Power App form and I made minor updates to the form but even after I publish the new version when I access the form from the ECN Site it's hosted on the old version always comes up. What's happening. I have refreshed and deleted history etc.

Turns out it was the application. Not the sharepoint environment. Even though I published in edit mode that actually never did anything. When I pulled up the file and inspected the version. It showed that the older version was still the active version, not the latest version as if I never published it. So in that menu I was able to make the latest version active and then it worked as it was supposed to. Apparently the publish in edit while it said it completed nothing actually happened. It works now but i would still like to find out why the publish doesn't work as advertised.

    Hi @Engman, W C (Chad)

Thank you for sharing your concern.

Based on your description, this behavior is typically not related to the publish action itself, but rather to how the app is being loaded from the hosting site. When a Power App is embedded, the host page may continue to serve a previously cached version of the app. This can occur due to browser caching, session reuse, or delays in how the hosting page refreshes its embedded content. As a result, you may still see an older version of the app even after a successful publish.

To resolve this, you could try to:

Allow time for cache refresh on the hosting site

Embedded apps may not update instantly and can take some time before the latest version is reflected.

    Test in an Incognito/Private window

This helps determine whether the issue is caused by cached data or session persistence.

To ensure I fully understand your situation and provide the most effective assistance, I’ll need a few additional details, such as:

Could you please clarify what you mean by the “ECN site” in your setup?

Is the Power App embedded within a SharePoint page, Power Pages site, or a custom web application?

When you open the app directly from Power Apps, do you see the latest published version?

Does this issue also occur for other users in your tenant or when accessed from a different device?

    I hope this helps.

If you have any additional concerns, feel free to comment below. I would be more than happy to assist.
