Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

To help narrow down the issue:

    1. Are you using a laptop touchpad, a USB mouse, or a wireless mouse?
    2. Does the cursor disappear only after Windows starts, or is it missing even on the sign-in screen?
    3. Is the mouse cursor missing in all areas of the screen, or only in specific apps or windows?
    4. Have you recently installed any Windows updates, drivers, or software before this started?

In the meantime, try pressing Ctrl + Alt + Delete and see if the cursor appears on that screen.

If you're using a laptop, also try pressing the key combination that enables/disables the touchpad (often Fn + one of the F-keys with a touchpad icon).

If the issue persists, please provide more details by answering my questions.

Use the following steps in order, testing the mouse after each step:

    1. Check the mouse hardware
    • Make sure the mouse is firmly plugged in and has power (for wireless, check or replace batteries).
    • If it’s USB, unplug it, wait a few seconds so Windows unloads the driver, then plug it back in.
    • Try a different USB port.
    • If using a USB hub, plug the mouse directly into the PC instead of the hub.
    • If possible, connect the mouse to another PC to confirm it works there. If it doesn’t work on another PC, the mouse may need to be replaced.
    1. Check wireless/Bluetooth connection (if applicable)
    • For wireless USB receivers, unplug the receiver for about 10 seconds, then plug it back in to re-establish the connection.
    • For Bluetooth mice, ensure Bluetooth is on and paired. If the mouse has a reset or pair button, press it to reconnect.
    1. Update or reinstall mouse drivers
    • Open the search box on the taskbar and type check for updates, then select Check for updates.
    • Under Windows Update, select Check for updates and install any available updates, including driver updates.
    • To update manually:
      1. In the search box, type device manager, then select Device Manager.
      2. Find the mouse under Mice and other pointing devices, double-click it.
      3. Go to the Driver tab and select Update Driver, then follow the instructions.

If the cursor still does not appear after these steps and the mouse is confirmed to work on another PC, the issue may be specific to the current Windows installation and may require further in-depth troubleshooting or repair.
