Hello,

I am unable to launch Microsoft Teams on any platform. I have tried the app, Chrome, and Safari, but whenever I click to open it, the issue persists.

Yesterday, an agent from Microsoft assisted me with Service Request #[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed], but the problem remains unresolved.

i prefer to do it over the phone if that is possible my phone #[Moderator note: Personally Identifiable Information removed]

Please advise on the next steps to resolve this.

Thank you,

    Hello M k,

I am following up on your issue. Since Teams works on your mobile device, your personal Microsoft account can likely access Teams Free. The issue seems more related to the computer, browser sign-in session, network, or Teams app cache.

Please note that this is a user-to-user forum, so contributors here can suggest troubleshooting steps based on the information shared, but cannot access your account, service request, or arrange a phone call from Microsoft.

Please try these steps on the affected computer:

    1. Open Teams on the web in a private/incognito browser window and sign in again.
    2. If private browsing works, clear cookies/site data for Microsoft, Live, Outlook, and Teams sites in your normal browser.
    3. Temporarily turn off any VPN, proxy, ad blocker, or security filtering tool, then test again. You may also try another network, such as a mobile hotspot. Microsoft’s sign-in guidance also mentions that certain status codes can be related to internet, proxy, or connection problems. Why am I having trouble signing in to Microsoft Teams?
    4. Clear the Teams desktop app cache by following the steps here: Clear the Teams client cache.

If the issue still occurs after these steps, please check whether there is any status code shown on the Teams screen and share only the code here. Please do not post your full email address, phone number, or service request number publicly.

I hope this helps narrow down why Teams works on mobile but not on your computer.

    Hi @M k,

I hope you are doing well.Thank you for reaching out. To better understand the issue, and assist you, please share the following information:

    1. Which account type are you using to sign in to Microsoft Teams? Is it a personal account (outlook.com, hotmail.com...) or a business account (company.doman)?
    2. Is your account assigned with a subscription including Teams? To verify, please sign into My account, select Subscriptions on the left pane. Check whether your subscription has Microsoft Teams with it.

    1. Have you tried using Teams on another device? if so, does the issue also occur there? Once I have these details, I'll be able to share accurate solutions to resolve the problem.

Thank you for your time and patience during the process. Looking forward to your response.
