Hi All,

I have a Microsoft 365 subscription and I am using Microsoft Excel for Mac version 16.109 on Current Channel.

The Office Store Add-ins functionality is completely missing from Excel. I do not see:

  • Get Add-ins
  • My Add-ins
  • Office Add-ins

under the Insert tab or elsewhere.

I have already:

  • updated Office fully,
  • confirmed I am on Current Channel,
  • enabled all Connected Experiences,
  • signed out and back in,
  • cleared Microsoft OneAuth cache from Keychain Access,
  • restarted Excel and my Mac.

The issue persists.

I can only access the old “Excel Add-ins” menu with Solver and Analysis ToolPak, but not Office Store add-ins such as ChatGPT or Excel Labs.

Can you please confirm whether this is a known issue with Excel for Mac 16.109 and advise how to restore the Office Add-ins framework?

The Add-ins tool for obtaining add-is from the Microsoft Store should be at the right end of the Home tab of the Ribbon:

User's image Additionally, there is an Excel Add-ins command for installing developer add-ins not obtained from the Microsoft Store. It's available in the Tools menu & on the Developer tab.
