My self Larry Walper and my wife Shelly Walper by mistake both of us paid for a family plan for Microsoft 365, these 2 subscriptions are interfering with each other and I need to cancel Larry Walper's subscription and continue with Shelly Walper's subscription which will be recurring from now on. Please cancel my subscription and refund my credit card the charge for Microsoft 365.

    Hi,

Based on the category you selected, did you purchase this subscription from the Apple Store on your Mac computer?

If yes, I suggest contacting Apple Support since your subscription was purchased through the Apple Store: https://support.apple.com/en-us/118428

According to this Microsoft article, if you purchased a Microsoft subscription through the Apple App Store, you will need to contact Apple Support directly for cancellation or refund requests.

Watch out for ads on the site that may advertise products frequently classified as a PUP (Potentially Unwanted Products). Thoroughly research any product advertised on the site before you decide to download and install it.

If the subscription was purchased directly from Microsoft, please sign in to the Microsoft account used for the purchase here:

    https://account.microsoft.com/services

Find the subscription you want to cancel > Manage > Cancel subscription > Follow the prompts.

Once cancelled, it may take 3 to 5 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.

If it doesn’t work or you need further assistance, for your security and privacy, I recommend contacting Microsoft Billing Support directly, as this request involves personal or sensitive information that should not be shared in a public forum.

    Click this link: https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/

Sign in to your Microsoft account.

Select Microsoft 365 > Click 'Get home support'.

Type "Chat with an agent" from the text field and press Enter.

Click "Contact support" at the bottom.

Select the product you need help with.

Follow the prompts to connect with a live agent or request a call back.

Cancellation and refunds for Microsoft 365 subscriptions cannot be performed here. Cancellation and refund must be done from the Microsoft account that owns the subscription.

To cancel the Microsoft 365 subscription that should not continue (for example, the one under "Larry Walper") and request a refund if eligible, follow these steps from that account:

    1. Go to the Services & subscriptions page: https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account that was used to buy the Microsoft 365 subscription that needs to be cancelled.
    2. Locate the Microsoft 365 subscription to cancel.
    3. Select Manage.
      • If instead of Manage there is Turn on recurring billing, the subscription is already set to expire on the date shown and will not be charged again; no further action is required for cancellation.
    4. On the next page, select Cancel or Cancel subscription (it might say Upgrade or Cancel).
    5. Scroll through and follow the on‑screen instructions to complete cancellation.
    6. After cancellation, refund eligibility depends on Microsoft’s subscription refund rules. To check eligibility and request a refund, follow the guidance in the refund article at How to get a refund on a Microsoft subscription.

    Important points:

    • Only the owner of each subscription (each separate Microsoft account) can cancel that subscription.
    • If either subscription was purchased through a third party (for example, Google Play or Apple App Store), cancellation and any refund must be requested through that retailer’s support, as described in the “Other” subscriptions section.
    • After cancelling the unwanted subscription, ensure the remaining subscription (for example, Shelly’s) has recurring billing configured as desired on the same Services & subscriptions page.

If additional help is needed (for example, if cancellation or refund options do not appear), contact Microsoft Support via Contact Microsoft Support from the account that owns the subscription.
