Subject: Issue with Generated Images in Microsoft Copilot

Dear Microsoft Support Team,

I would like to bring to your attention an issue I encountered during a session with Microsoft Copilot on December 12, 2025. It appears that some of my previously generated images are no longer functioning, and instead, a default image is being displayed.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt assistance.

Best regards,

I apologise for the delayed response. 😅

I looked over all of your advice, but it isn't functioning.

    Hi Abdelhamid Gholami

I understand how frustrating this can be, especially if the images were generated earlier and you were expecting to access them again from the same Copilot session.

To better understand what is happening, could you please share a bit more information?

    • Are you using the Copilot app on Windows, Copilot in Microsoft Edge, or https://copilot.microsoft.com/
    • Does this happen with all previously generated images, or only some specific ones?
    • Were those images downloaded or saved to your device before the issue started?
    • Are you signed in with the same Microsoft account that was used when the images were originally generated?
    • When you open the old conversation, do you see an error message, a broken image icon, or just a default placeholder image?

In the meantime, please try these steps:

    • Make sure you are signed in with the same Microsoft account that was used to generate the images.
    • Try opening Copilot from a browser at https://copilot.microsoft.com/ and check whether the images appear there.
    • Please also check your previous Copilot chat/conversation to see if the picture is still visible there.
    • Try another browser or an InPrivate/InPrivate window to rule out a cache or browser issue.
    • Clear the browser cache, then sign out and sign back in to Copilot.
    • If you are using the Windows Copilot app, check for app and Windows updates, then restart the device.
    • If the images were previously downloaded, please check your Downloads folder or any folder where you usually save images.

While my initial response may not fully resolve the issue, I truly appreciate your cooperation as we work together toward identifying the most effective solution. Thank you so much for your understanding.
