I bought microsoft 365 for the year using an email I no longer have access to as I no longer work for that company - therefore catnsign in to cancel or transfer. Is it possible for me to transfer over use to another account not linked to that old email?

    Hi,

Is this a work or company email account? If yes, I suggest contacting your IT admin or company’s Microsoft 365 administrator, as they manage the account, subscription access, and sign in permissions. They may still be able to help you regain access or check whether the subscription is tied to the organization.

If this is a personal Microsoft 365 subscription, unfortunately subscriptions cannot be transferred from one Microsoft account to another. The usual option is to cancel the subscription on the old account and purchase a new subscription using your new Microsoft account.

However, since you no longer have access to the old email account, you would first need to try recovering the Microsoft account. If account recovery is no longer possible, your remaining option may be to contact your bank or payment provider to stop future recurring charges.

Please note that Microsoft Support cannot directly cancel a subscription if the account ownership cannot be verified.
