All along I was given I TB to my personal Microsoft Account as I had subscription to other Microsoft Account. Suddenly, I am seeing notification that I overshot my storage capacity and need to buy storage space. This is unacceptable as 1 TB was given to me under the impression that I had subscribed to other MS 365 account. Message says that I over shot my storage by 500%. How come MS suddenly work up now and asking me to buy additional storage. I do not want to buy any additional storage as I am already paying monthly subscription to other account. Why this goof up from Microsoft 365 team

Hello, OneDrive storage and your Microsoft 365 subscription are linked specifically to the account that owns the subscription. With Microsoft 365 Personal, the account receives 1 TB of storage. If the subscription is not active on that account or has expired, the storage may revert to the free 5 GB, which can trigger overage notifications even if you previously had 1 TB.

Could you please confirm which Microsoft account you are signed into when you see the overage notification? Does it match the account that had the 1 TB entitlement? Also, have you checked your current storage usage and subscription status at https://account.microsoft.com/services and https://onedrive.live.com/?v=managestorage?
