An application or feature powered by Windows Copilot to assist users with tasks and productivity
I understand how inconvenient it can be when Copilot shows as blocked, especially after you have already tried different browsers and signed in again.
Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators and contributors, including external Microsoft employees, do not have access to Microsoft back-end systems and cannot directly restore, unblock, or make changes to an account.
To help narrow this down, could you please confirm a few details?
- Are you using a personal Microsoft account or a work/school account?
- Are you seeing the blocked message in the Copilot app on Windows, on https://copilot.microsoft.com, or in both places?
- Is there any specific error message or error code shown on the screen?
- Is this device managed by a company, school, or organization?
- If possible, could you try signing in to Copilot with the same account on another device or another network and let us know whether the same issue appears?
In the meantime, please try the following checks:
- Sign out of extra Microsoft accounts in the browser
- Open Microsoft Edge, select your profile icon in the upper-right corner, and sign out of any additional account that are not being used for Copilot. After that, close all browser windows, open Edge again, and try accessing Copilot.
- Clear Microsoft-related site data
- In your browser settings, clear cookies and cached data for Microsoft-related sites, such as microsoft.com, live.com, and copilot.microsoft.com. Then close the browser completely, open a new InPrivate or Incognito window, and go to https://copilot.microsoft.com.
- Check whether Microsoft Family Safety is involved
- If this is a personal Microsoft account and it is part of a family group, please check whether Copilot or copilot.microsoft.com has been blocked by Family Safety settings.
