    Hello

If it is a personal account, and if you specifically mean Teams meeting invitation, you cannot attach a file.

But you can upload the file to OneDrive. then share fron OneDrive using the "copy link" option, then paste the link in the invitation email body to share that way instead.

Yes. With Microsoft Teams Free, files can be attached and shared in chats and communities, which are then accessible from meeting invites or related conversations.

    On desktop in Teams Free:

    1. Open the chat or community associated with the meeting/invite.
    2. Select Attach Files next to the Type a new message field.
    3. Choose either Upload from my computer or Attach cloud files, select the file, then select Open.
    4. Optionally type a message and select Send.

The file is uploaded to the Microsoft Teams Chat Files folder in OneDrive (for documents and other files), and a link is shared in the chat. Anyone with the link can view and edit the file, depending on the permission setting (Anyone with this link). Images and videos shared via Gallery/Media do not count against the 5 GB OneDrive storage limit.

If the file’s access needs to be revoked or changed later, this must be done in OneDrive by changing or stopping sharing permissions.
