In Viva engage, I have several MS communities (see below), but when I click on discover All communities, I can't see any. I want for example to add community "D365FO Development Issues/Questions/Answers" How to solve this?
I think I have this issue since the change from Yammer to Engage.

    Hello Ernest Wensink

I found a form that some users are using to request access to join groups after the migration: Request access to Finance and Operations Viva Engage Community

Not all groups are listed there, but I noticed that some of the groups you mentioned do appear in this form.

You might consider joining the groups available in that list first. Once your request is accepted, you could then ask to be added to the other groups that are not included in the form.

Alternatively, you may want to ask a colleague for help reaching out to the group admins directly to have you added.

Hope this helps and points you in the right direction.

Hello Ernest Wensink , it seems that you might be a guest user of the tenant, is that correct? Based on what I’ve researched, and also what Q&A Assist suggests, this appears to be the right explanation for your behavior. You might also want to recheck the article that Q&A Assist provided.

I also tested on my side, and I noticed that the interface is slightly different from yours. For example, my account appears under the Home tab, while in your screenshot this does not seem to be the case.

However, in my testing, communities are shown correctly when selecting Discover communities > Alphabetical filter. Because of this, it leads me to believe that the behavior may differ if the account is accessing the tenant as a guest, or if the target community is not in the same tenant or is not publicly available.

Could you please confirm the following:

    • Are you already a member of the “D365FO Development Issues/Questions/Answers” community?
    • Is this community located in your tenant, or in a different organization?
    • Is this a public community?

Could you please recheck these points and share your findings? I look forward to hearing from you soon.

In Viva Engage, Microsoft Entra B2B guest users cannot discover communities and can only access communities they are explicitly invited to. If the account is a guest in the tenant that hosts those Dynamics 365 communities, the Discover communities page will remain empty and communities like “D365FO Development Issues/Questions/Answers” will not appear for browsing or self-joining.

To resolve this, the owner or admin of the target community must invite the account directly to that community. Once added as a member, the community will appear in the Communities list even though it does not show up in Discover.

If the account is not supposed to be a guest (for example, it should be a regular member of the organization’s tenant), the Microsoft 365 or Entra ID admin needs to adjust the account type and membership so that community discovery works as expected.
