My 2026 files have all disappeared and I want them back

    Windows doesn't make your files disappear, and you haven't provided any information about how they disappeared. So it's complete guesswork for us. Here are my guesses:

    • Your files are in the Windows Recycle Bin.
    • Your files are in the OneDrive Recycle Bin.
    • Your files were moved to a different hard drive partition.
