On MS update catalogue and WSUS, Updates for Edge are not available on time

I noticed that the edge browser cannot be properly kept up2date using WSUS.
WSUS does not get edge updates in time: the site https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/ will not list the same updates that https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download holds at all times, but each release will arrive a few days later.

So those admins trying to keep edge up2date as soon as possible cannot use WSUS.
It should be obvious that this only holds true for edge, any other product's updates will find their way to WSUS in time, so why not edge?

As you can see, the release date of the update in your screenshot is 13th of october, which is 2 days later than it was released on https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/edge/business/download - So for 2 days, our machines run an unpatched edge because of this.

Sorry for misunderstanding. In my opinion, WSUS server get updates from the below site:

https://sws1.update.microsoft.com

I don't know the actual date when the Edge updates are published into the site. It doesn't depended on me. Forum Team are responsibility to troubleshot if anybody encounter any error. However, the issue seems related with the published date. Perhaps we could open a ticket with MS to confirm whether they have any other comments.

It is suggested to submit a service request to MS Professional tech support service so that a dedicated Support Professional can further assist with this request.

Hi Rita.

I will never again work with MS support, they have disappointed me often enough and wasted too much time that I prefer to use this forum so that threads could get upvoted and MS might get interested. However, only a few people understand that upvoting is important and of these, only a few understand this problem. If you do, please upvote it.
For your reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-relnote-stable-channel shows the real release dates
In WSUS, you will find that the release date is a day or two later (a few months ago, even 3 days later!).

If MS took security as serious as they say, then this would matter, BIG TIME, as outdated browsers are still one major security problem.
