Oh, appears that Options is located waaaay at the bottom in tiny letters (large screen issue perhaps). I think I will be able to solve this issue now.

At application start-up, I always get an error ("Microsoft Access can't change the working directory to [xxx]") after I changed the folder locations for my files to something that is more logical/easier to access (no pun intended).
To correct that start-up problem, I see it is advised to make changes under "File > Options" tab, BUT THERE IS NO "OPTIONS" under File, just: Home / New / Open / Info (useless) / Save As / Close. That's it. I can't find anything online anywhere about this lack! I am running standalone MS Office 2021 purchase not even two years ago. Help!

In Access 2021 the Options command is normally in the Backstage view under File, but the menu layout can differ depending on where the focus is and which category is selected. To get to the setting that controls the default/working folder for databases, use the Access-specific path rather than looking for a generic “Options” button in the left menu.
To fix the startup error and reset the working directory for Access databases:
This resets the folder Access uses when creating/opening databases and should stop the “can’t change the working directory” error, as that error typically occurs when the configured default folder no longer exists or is inaccessible.
If the goal is to change the default working folder for other Office apps (Word, Excel, etc.), that is done separately in each app via File > Options > Save > Default local file location, but that does not affect Access’ database folder.
