The data type section of my ribbon in office online has disappeared. I have tried restarting, relaunching the browser, signing out but nothing brings it back, additionally prior data type grabs for stock data that I had already setup no long pull new data either. I have an active internet connection (hence posting this) and have also tried starting a new office online excel file but still it does not show

    Hi @Peter

I am so sorry about this inconvenience, I have tested on my side and see the same behavior as yours.

Several users have also reported this unexpected behavior. I also have some observations:

In Excel Web, Data Types section disappeared.

In Excel for desktop, Stocks is still visible, however, it would return a message like this when you select it:

The STOCKHISTORY function will return value as #CONNECT!

As for now, my recommendation would be raising feedback via Help > Feedback > Report a problem.

Another place you can do this is via Excel · Community. When you done submitting, please feel free to drop the link here so I and other people can upvote for you.

    I hope this information helps.
