Hi, I'm trying to respond to reviews on our App but i get a response that i can not respond to a review. This has worked for us in the past years but now suddenly since around 3 weeks ago we get this notification

    The Microsoft Store reviews API that allows programmatic responses to app reviews is currently not working. This affects methods such as get response info for app reviews and submit responses to app reviews, which previously returned whether a response was allowed and let apps post replies.

    Because the API is not in a working state, calls can now fail or indicate that responses are not allowed, even for reviews that were previously respondable. This matches the behavior described: it worked for years and started failing recently.

    To continue responding to reviews, use Partner Center instead of the API:

    1. Sign in to Partner Center and open the app.
    2. Go to the Ratings and reviews / Reviews report section.
    3. Find the review and select Reply.
    4. Enter the response text (up to 1000 characters) following the guidelines, and choose whether to make it public or send it privately via email (if available).

    If a specific review cannot be responded to in Partner Center, the customer may have opted out of receiving responses, in which case no response (API or UI) is allowed.

    There is currently no supported workaround to restore the old programmatic behavior; Partner Center is the supported path.
