A family of Microsoft products that enable users to capture, organize, and reuse notes electronically.
To get live, human support and screen sharing help for OneNote and Copilot, use Microsoft’s official support channels rather than what Copilot described in the app.
For accessibility or screen-reader–related help (including Copilot in OneNote):
- Go to the Microsoft Disability Answer Desk page: https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?LinkID=518252
- On that page, choose the contact method available in the region (phone, chat, or ASL where supported).
- Explain that assistance is needed with OneNote on macOS and Copilot changes to headings, and that screen sharing is required so they can see the screen.
For general Microsoft support and to reach a live person (if the above does not fit the scenario):
- On the device, open the Get Help app (search for “Get Help” in the system search box).
- In Get Help, type “Chat with an agent” and press Enter.
- Select Contact support at the bottom.
- Choose the product area for Microsoft 365/Office → OneNote.
- Follow the prompts until the options to chat with a live agent or request a call back appear.
- When connected, request remote assistance or screen sharing so the agent can view the OneNote window and Copilot behavior.
If the issue is specifically about accessibility and using Copilot or headings with a screen reader, the Disability Answer Desk is the most direct route and is trained on assistive technologies.
