    Open Excel.

    Go to File - Account.

On that window, what version of Microsoft Office is indicated as installed on your PC, please provide a screenshot of that window and if your Email appears in the screenshot, please hide it, this is a public user forum.

Log into your Microsoft account on this link, what Office licence do you find linked to your Microsoft account there.

MAP and LAMBDA are available in Excel for Microsoft 365, Excel for Microsoft 365 for Mac, and Excel for the web, but only if the installed version is new enough.

    From the context:

    • LAMBDA is listed as a logical function available starting in Excel 2024 and Excel for Microsoft 365.
    • MAP is also listed as a logical function available in Excel 2024 and Excel for Microsoft 365.

To determine if they are available in a specific Excel 365 installation, check whether the Excel build includes these 2024 functions. If the Excel version is current enough to include Excel 2024 features (for example, it shows functions like MAP, MAKEARRAY, REDUCE, SCAN in the function list), then MAP and LAMBDA are present. If those functions are not recognized, the installed build is older than the required version and does not support them.
