Microsoft Access Conditional Formatting Color Palette Choices Reduced. I used to be able to choose from about 40ish colors, then the next menu to about 100 color, then to the custom palette.
The 40ish color palette is now replaced with a simple 10 "standard colors".
At least we now have the RBG and Hex addresses, but I used the 40 color palette most of the time. Please bring it back.

Perhaps your issue is related to one of the changes mentioned here in this Blog Post
The 5th item refers to standardizing the Access color palette to match other Office apps.

The restored color palette is now mentioned (as third item) in the list of bug fixes in version 2605.

Angela Maria, this change is now reported to be unintended, and the older, larger palette will be back on the Conditional Formatting.
The update is still in preview, but is expected to be published with the next monthly release.

I also checked on my side and it looks the same as what you described: only 10 basic colors are available. However, I couldn’t find any official article from Microsoft about this either.
If I come across more information, I’ll come back to share it with you.

The reason behind is probably to simplify the options in the interface to select between: 10 - many - any
Also note, that if you select your custom favourite colours and use them, they will be added to the "Recently used" row of colours (not shown on your picture).
Thank you. The recently used colors are reset at each launch of Access. Is there a way to keep them fixed?
