    Hi @Jan Spangler

I hope you are doing well.

From the context, “BC” is not a feature in Excel. Excel does not have a built‑in function or setting called BC, and its help documentation focuses on spreadsheet capabilities such as formulas, data analysis, and formatting.

Most commonly, “BC” refers to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. If your question is about entering palletizing information (such as items per pallet, layers, or pallet dimensions), this would be handled in Business Central, not in Excel itself. In Dynamics 365 Business Central, palletizing and packaging details can include units of measure, and Microsoft gives examples where an item may be bought on pallets while used in pieces.

In Dynamics 365 Business Central, this type of information is generally managed through the Item Card and the Item Units of Measure setup. Microsoft documentation for the Item Units of Measure structure includes fields such as Qty. per Unit of Measure, Length, Width, Height, Cubage, and Weight.

For warehouse scenarios such as directed put away and pick, these item unit of measure entries can be used to define height, width, length, cubage, and weight for the item.  In addition, the item record includes fields such as Gross Weight, Net Weight, Units per Parcel, and Unit Volume.

For more information, please refer to Set up item units of measure - Business Central | Microsoft Learn  Excel can still be used as a supporting tool, for example to prepare or import data, but the sources I found point to Business Central as the place where this type of item and warehouse related information is maintained.

If you intended something else by “BC,” or if you are using a specific add‑in or integration between Excel and another system, please share more details so I can guide you accurately.
