On Android, Outlook does not automatically “pick up” an Office 365/Microsoft 365 subscription or desktop profile. Email, calendar, and contacts must be added as accounts in the Outlook app, and subscription features are linked by signing in with the correct Microsoft account, not by importing a Windows/desktop profile.

To connect the subscription and see mailbox content on the Samsung A11 tablet:

    1. Open the Outlook app on the tablet.
    2. Tap the account icon at the top next to Inbox.
    3. Tap the Settings gear at the bottom of the menu.
    4. Go to Accounts > Add Account.
    5. Tap Add Subscription and sign in with the same Microsoft account used for the Office 365/Microsoft 365 subscription.
    6. Also add the work/school or Outlook.com email account itself (if it is not already added) so Outlook can sync the mailbox (emails, calendar, contacts).

    Note:

    • This “Add Subscription” option is only available in Outlook for Android (not classic Outlook for Windows or Outlook.com).
    • If mail does not sync after adding the account, check the “Troubleshoot Outlook mobile issues” guidance for sync problems and ensure the account is added as an Exchange/Outlook.com account rather than POP/IMAP if calendar/contacts are needed.
