Organizing sections, permissions, and content within the Class Notebook
Hi @Helen Jones,
I’ve tested this on my side (on both iPad and android device), and it looks like exporting the notebook is no longer possible using the available options.
In this case, there are two workable alternatives at the moment. First, you can export the notebook via OneNote apps via PC device by following this article: Export and Import OneNote notebooks - Microsoft Support.
The second method is to print the notebook (or sections/pages) to PDF and save the PDF via OneNote on the web, you can do it by following these steps:
1/ Navigate to OneNote on the web: https://www.onenote.com
2/ Press File > Print > Print
3/ Under “Printer” tab, select Save as PDF
4/ Click Save
Note: This workaround only works on a desktop device. I’ve tested this myself, and it is not possible to print or export PDF from mobile devices.
If you believe this function affected your workload, my recommendation is to post this issue via OneNote · Community so that the product team can investigate further.
Note: Please understand that as a forum moderator, my primary goal is to provide helpful guidance and support through general troubleshooting steps. While I don’t have access to internal systems or test devices required to resolve backend/account issues, I truly appreciate your understanding of these limitations.
I hope you find this information helpful. If anything is unclear, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me.
