One Note app stopped working completely on an Android device.

I have been using OneNote for my uni notes for several years now, and basically, most of my notes are there, and I use them daily.

But for the past few days, the app on my Android tablet has not worked. It still works on my phone and on my computer, but one day it just stopped working on my tablet, which is the device I use for school. Now I have tried everything - clearing cache, deleting all app data, restarting my device, reinstalling the app. Nothing works. The only thing that happens after I open the app is a black screen with the purple OneNote logo in the middle and a loading indicator. But it never loads.

Someone said that it might be the result of the latest update, but that doesn't really help me since I have no idea how to deal with this problem. Please, can anybody help me? I am kinda dependend on my tablet and notes for school (that's why I got the tablet after all).

    Recently, several users have reported that Office applications on Android, especially on Samsung devices, are not working as expected. Since you selected the Android tag, could you please try the exact steps below and let me know the results?

    1. Settings > Search for "Android System Webview" > App Details In Store > Remove Updates
    2. Reboot
    3. Settings > Search for "Android System Webview" > App Details In Store > Update.

      Note: If "Android System Webview" doesn't appear in the app list, go to: Settings > Google > All services > System Services > Select "Android System Webview"

    4. Reboot
    5. Launch Teams/Outlook & log in.
