Hi,
my ADR Monthly Windows Update has a issue with downloading on the Client machine.
I see the Monthly Windows Update on the client machine in Software Center, but Stuck at Downloading (0% complete) since 2 days.
I can deploy any applications, it is downloaded and install it without any issue.
Only Windows Update does not downloaded
my Step,
Any Idea how I can resolve it?

Is the issue on a single device or multiple? What is the status of the ADR in ConfigMgr? Did the content download and replicate correctly? What is the update scan status of the devices in question?
As I mention, it downloaded all applications and Office 2024 Updates correct and install it.
I did create for MS Office 2024 an ADR too and that working fine. Only monthly Windows Update does not download and stuck by 0%.
It is multiple devices. the ADR status is enabled and no errors
I can see that alle Content is downloaded on my share.

This was a Sophos issue for 2026-04 https://support.sophos.com/support/s/article/KBA-000048598?language=en_US&c__displayLanguage=en_US.

no we do not use Sophos core Agent, but we have Sophos XGS

I have a similar problem with several monthly (2026.04) updates including CUs.
Basically, in the local cache of the client sccm downloads only a part of the content actually present in the sources and keeps trying until it fails.
For example, this is the situation for the monthly CU of 24H2

I am not sure, but on the Client machine I see "Downloading" 0% and stuck since 5 hours

I don’t think so.
The previous monthly updates arrive without problems, the April Malware Removal Tool and the April M365 monthly updates also arrive and install without problems.
I was looking for confirmation, because being already in 2 with the same problem makes me think that we are not the only ones to be in this situation and therefore it does not depend on our infrastructure, but maybe on Microsoft itself.
