Since mail works on the desktop but not on the iPhone, the issue is likely with the iOS Mail app or its configuration.
Try these steps on the iPhone Mail app:
- Delete and re-add the account as Exchange
- In iOS go to Settings > Mail > Accounts.
- Select the problematic account.
- Tap Delete Account.
- Add the account again and choose Exchange (or Microsoft 365/Exchange if shown), not IMAP or POP. This is required for proper sync of mail, calendar, and contacts.
- If still not working, use Outlook for iOS
- Install and sign in using the Outlook for iOS mobile app, which is the recommended experience for Microsoft 365/Exchange accounts.
- If the account was previously working and suddenly stopped
- If the account works on a computer but not on the phone, the issue may be with the iOS Mail app itself. In that case, contact Apple Support for Mail app issues, or use the Outlook mobile app instead.
