Hello Support Team,

We are currently experiencing an issue when attempting to deploy the gpt-5-mini model in Azure OpenAI.

The deployment consistently fails with the following error:

Error Message: Failed to deploy model gpt-5-mini 715-123420: An error occurred. Please reach out to support for additional assistance.

Error Details: Trace ID: a7f7edef-601c-41c0-8320-2885ecd5282a Client request ID: 84f78e96-cc1f-4b01-92b6-6d0a30ed5ae0 Service request ID: 4ec5bfc1-0116-450f-8bc6-7bf85972dd3e

We have attempted to deploy the model multiple times, but the same error occurs each time.

Could you please investigate this issue and advise whether this is related to regional capacity, model availability, or any configuration issue on our side?

This issue is currently blocking our model deployment and testing, so timely assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards

    Hello,

    Thank you for your response.

I understand that you requested the Azure OpenAI Resource ID to be shared via private message. However, I currently do not see any private message link, blue banner, or private message button available on the question thread.

Could you please enable a private message channel or provide a secure private link so that I can safely share the Azure OpenAI Resource ID as requested?

    Thank you for your assistance.

    Hello,

Thank you for your response and explanation.

Regarding the suggestion to create a deployment using a new resource group, at this time we would prefer not to create a new resource group, as this Azure OpenAI resource is already part of our existing environment and configuration.

    Also, to clarify:

All deployment attempts were performed manually through the Azure Portal web interface (Microsoft Edge browser). We are not using Terraform, ARM templates, or any unofficial API versions.

Therefore, it appears the issue may be related to the platform-level RTFP protection rather than deployment tooling.

As requested, I will share the Azure OpenAI Resource ID via private message so that your team can review and investigate further.

Please let us know if any additional details are required.

    Thank you for your assistance.
