Hi,

I am unable to create a search service in East US. I am unable to select Standard Pricing tier and the message I get it that it is not available due to high demand.

We need Search Service in East US as all other resources of our application are in East US and are joined to a VNET in East US. We could not set up our Search Service in any other region and if we have to, we need to provision separate VNET and enable Peering, which is not possible at this time.

Is there any way we can create our Search Service in East US? We need to have Standard tier only as Basic does not support Private Links for Cognitive Services

    Hello @Rangarajan Subramani

as per offline discussion the issue is resolved thanks for confirming

AI Search service in the East US 2 region, which you want to update the sku of but unable to through the portal since there currently is a capacity constraint. if you don't want to use a different region In order to update the sku of your existing search service, may I ask you to try using REST API or ARM template to update your sku? Here are some references on how to create/update your search service with REST API/ARM:
