not able to claim students benefits azure

When investigated it looks like you’re running into the familiar “You do not have access / we’re unable to validate your account” error when trying to claim Azure for Students via your GitHub Student Developer Pack. That usually means the Azure sign-up flow can’t tie back to a verified GitHub identity. Here’s a checklist of things to try:

Sign in with your GitHub user ID (not your email) • On the Azure student verification page (https://signup.azure.com/studentverification?offerType=1), choose Sign in with GitHub. • Enter your GitHub username, not your email address.

Confirm your primary email in GitHub is correct and verified • In GitHub, go to Settings > Emails. • Make sure the same address you want to use in Azure is listed and marked Primary (and Verified).

Generate and apply the GitHub verification code • After you’ve signed in, GitHub will email you a one-time code (from the Student Developer Pack “Activate Now”). • In the Azure prompt, switch to the Verification code option and paste that code.

Clear cache / use Incognito or a different browser • Sometimes stale cookies can break the flow—clear your browser cache or open an InPrivate/Incognito window. • If you have multiple GitHub or Microsoft accounts, make sure you’re signed out of all of them before you start.

Double-check your Student Developer Pack status • Log into https://education.github.com/pack to confirm your pack is still active and that the Azure benefit is listed under your benefits. • If it’s not there, you may need to re-apply on GitHub’s side first.

Are you signing in with a personal GitHub account or a work/school one?

Any chance you’ve got more than one GitHub/Microsoft identity in your browser?
