DebugView 5.0 broken on Windows 1022H2

The new DebugView 5.0 version does not function properly on Windows 1022H2 (10.0.19045).

Upon starting it the following is displayed -

dbgview1

And after dismissing the dialog the toolbar is broken -

dbgview2

At this point I decided to revert to version 4.90!

And there is no indication in the DebugView documentation at https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/debugview that this version is incompatible with Windows 10 or any prior Windows version.

Furthermore, the documentation at WindowsXamlManager and DesktopWindowXamlSource indicate they should be available on Windows 10 22H2.

It seems to work if Sysinternals Suite is installed using the Microsoft Store. After installation, Debug View can be found in the Start menu. The new Toolbar appears correctly.

@Viorel, Were you able to reproduce the issue on Win10 22H2? A different user experienced the identical issue and commented at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/blog/sysinternals-blog/listent-for-macos-zoomit-sysmon-debugview-notmyfault-procmon-for-linux-and-ramma/4506035/replies/4506369While I find your observation interesting we should be able to use Sysinternals offerings as we always have by downloading the zip files and extracting their contents. No Microsoft Store interaction required.

It is worth noting that on April 1, several days after my initial post, the Sysinternals site was updated to tout version 5.0's new features and explicitly document the minimum supported Windows 10 version. However, although Xaml Islands were mentioned there is nothing in the documentation that addresses the application failures documented in this post and in the Sysinternals blog comments. As of this writing the documentation would still lead one to believe that the new version can be extracted from a zip file and successfully executed. Not.
