Thanks. In that case they would need to remove workspaces from the backend. Since this is a user-user support forum,

Please contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Please go to the https://support.microsoft.com/contactus page

    Type "Billing" and press Enter.

Please click on the "Contact support" button at the bottom.

Select the Product and Category for support based on your requirements.

The available support methods will be shown to you.

    Hi,

Please Try the Loop mobile app — Install the Loop app on iOS or Android, sign in with your personal account, and check if the workspace menu shows Delete there. The mobile client sometimes refreshes ownership correctly.

I’m eager to hear back and work together to find a solution.

For a personal or Family Microsoft account using Microsoft Loop, workspaces must be deleted by the owner from the Loop web or mobile app; there is no self-service way to have them removed “on the back-end” by a technician.

To delete Loop workspaces with a personal account:

    1. Open a browser and go to https://loop.cloud.microsoft and sign in with the personal/Family Microsoft account.
    2. Switch the view to Grid view.
    3. On each workspace that needs to be removed, select More (the three dots on the workspace tile).
    4. Select Delete and confirm.

    Important behavior and limitations:

    • Once a Loop workspace is deleted, it cannot be restored.
    • Loop workspaces and components count against Microsoft cloud storage. Deleting them can help free up space if approaching storage quota.
    • If the “Oops, something went wrong” error continues and prevents deletion, support must be contacted, because direct back-end deletion is not available to end users. Use the Microsoft 365 consumer support channel and specify that deleting via https://loop.cloud.microsoft fails with that error.

If the issue is with individual Loop components rather than entire workspaces:

    1. In the Loop app (web or mobile), open the workspace and navigate to the component.
    2. Select More at the top of the component page.
    3. Select Delete.
    4. If a component is deleted by mistake, open the Recycle bin from any other page in the workspace, select More on the item, and choose Restore.
    5. To permanently clear deleted items, open the Recycle bin and select Empty all.

If errors persist after trying these steps in a supported browser and network, the only path to have them removed is through Microsoft consumer support, referencing the Loop workspace deletion failure.
