- Open Get Help:
- Press the Windows logo key, type
Get Help, and press Enter.
- Press the Windows logo key, type
- In the Get Help window, describe the issue briefly (for example, “Outlook for Mac not working”).
- If the automated suggestions do not solve the problem, select the Contact Support button when it appears.
- Select the affected product or service and any additional options, then select Confirm.
- Choose a contact method:
- Chat with a support agent in your web browser – opens a live chat session.
- Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you – enter a phone number to receive a callback.
- Open Get Help:
- Use the Get Help entry point from Windows Settings (if available)
- Press Windows logo key + I to open Settings.
- Go to System → Display (or any settings page that shows a Get help link).
- Activate the Get help link to open the Get Help window.
- Type a short description of the issue (≤ 80 characters) and press Enter.
- When prompted, select Contact Support.
- Select the product/service and support category, then select Confirm.
- Choose one of the available options:
- Chat with a support agent in your web browser.
- Provide your phone number and a support agent will call you.
- Use Outlook.com’s built‑in help (for Outlook-related issues)
- Sign in to outlook.com.
- Select Help in the ribbon, then Help again.
- Enter the issue in the help pane.
- If the suggested articles do not help, scroll down and select Yes under Still need help?.
- Select Chat with a supported agent in your web browser.
- Fill out the issue details and email address, then select Confirm to open a live chat widget.
- Use the general Microsoft support site (billing/subscription or account issues)
- Go to https://support.microsoft.com/contactus/.
- Sign in with the Microsoft account that has the subscription or product.
- Type “Chat with an agent” and press Enter.
- Select Contact support.
- Choose Products and services, then follow the prompts.
- At the end, choose either:
- Online chat with an agent, or
- Call me back to receive a phone call.
Availability of chat and callback options depends on region, product, subscription, and support hours. If only virtual help appears initially, continue through the prompts until Contact Support or Still need help? is shown; that is where live-agent options are exposed.
