Unable to load photo on iPad photo app to OneDrive or from OneDrive to iPad. Per OneDrive, have used 218GB out of 1TB of storage. Have reset, resynched, uninstalled and re-installed all w/o success.

All settings are current per all instructions.

Are you keeping the OneDrive app open on screen during sync?

Keep OneDrive open, connect to Wi Fi and power, and do not switch apps since iPad pauses sync in the background. In OneDrive, go to Me, Settings, turn Camera Upload off then on if it shows. Then go to iPad Settings, OneDrive, turn off Background App Refresh, restart the iPad, open OneDrive, and test upload using Add, Upload with one photo.

It is a personal account. I opened photos, selected a photo, choose OneDrive to upload, photo did not upload. I did log out of OneDrive and restarted iPad; did not get any permissions or prompts to,respond to.

    Thanks for your reply.

Are you using a work or school account in OneDrive?

Camera Upload is only available for personal accounts. Open OneDrive, tap Me, and check the account type. If it is work or school, photo auto sync will not appear. Use the Photos app, select a photo, tap Share, then Save to OneDrive to upload. If it is a personal account, sign out of OneDrive, restart the iPad, sign in again, and allow all permissions when prompted to restore the Photos options.

I don’t have Camera Upload and Photo Access options in OneDrive settings. OneDrive has full access on the iPad. I did the Reset y’day and synched. I do not have Files on Demand. I have checked that my version of OneDrive is the latest..

    Hi,

Are you signed in with the same account in both the OneDrive app and iPad settings?

Open the OneDrive app, tap Me, then Settings, and turn on Camera Upload and Photos access. Go to iPad Settings, select Privacy and Security, then Photos, and confirm OneDrive has Full Access. In OneDrive Settings, select Reset OneDrive, then sign in again and keep the app open while connected to Wi Fi and power so sync finishes. Also check Files On Demand is off in OneDrive settings if shown, then try uploading one photo from the Photos app using Share to OneDrive to test.
