Microsoft Advertising Account Suspended – Request for Policy Clarification on Similar Handicapping Content
Hello Microsoft Advertising team and moderators,
My manager account DiceBreaker Books was suspended for "egregious violations" of the Terms of Use and policies. The appeal was upheld, but no specific examples were provided. I respect the process and am committed to full compliance.
DiceBreaker Books provides sports analytics, statistical modeling tools, and informational content for NBA and MLB. All materials were pre-reviewed using Microsoft’s own Copilot LLM, and responsible-gambling disclaimers and links (e.g., 1-800-GAMBLER) are included on the site.
I have attached a screenshot of a currently running sponsored ad for handicappingreviews.com promoting “Top 10 NBA Handicappers | Ranked Best Basketball Picks” in response to NBA player prop bet searches.
To resolve this efficiently, I request clarification on the following:
- How Microsoft Advertising distinguishes between review/leaderboard platforms (like the attached example) and direct sports analytics/modeling services under current policies.
- The specific elements in my account that triggered the violation.
- What changes to ad creative, landing pages (dicebreakerbooks.com), or targeting would bring the account into compliance.
I am prepared to implement any required modifications immediately and can complete additional verification or provide business documentation right away.
Thank you for any guidance.
