I cannot see the Mute Student tick boxes in my Team Channel

I am wondering how to add the tick boxes function to mute students in my Team channel?

The students still able to chat in the meetings inside the channel, what's the best way to prevent students using the chat functions outside school time?

I would like better control of student activities in my Team Channel.
