Hi. I have outlook through my college. I tried checking my outlook just now and it won't let me sign in. I had just checked it earlier, so I was confused. It's giving me the message: AADSTS7000112: Application '9199bf20-a13f-4107-85dc-02114787ef48'(One Outlook Web) is disabled. It says to contact an admin, but I don't know what that means. I'm on my home wifi, and I get this through the school. Unless the school disabled it, I don't know who to contact for that. Is it just down? I need to be able to check it.

    Dear Kaylee Blair,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A forum.

Based on the information you provided, I understand that you are encountering an issue when signing in to your school account, and receiving the error:

"AADSTS7000112: Application '9199bf20-a13f-4107-85dc-02114787ef48' (One Outlook Web) is disabled."

From what you’ve shared, it appears that you are attempting to log in to Outlook, but the application associated with the Outlook module named "One Outlook Web" has been disabled at the tenant level. In this situation, you will need to contact your IT Administrator or the person responsible for managing your account to verify whether the Enterprise Application named “One Outlook Web” is currently disabled for users in your organization.

For their reference, please provide them with the following Microsoft documentation related to the error:

Additionally, could you please confirm whether Outlook works normally in the web version at Outlook.office.com? If the web version works, please continue using it temporarily while your IT Administrator reviews the application status.

If you need any further assistance or have additional questions, please feel free to let me know.

The error means the Outlook web application your college uses is disabled in your organization’s Microsoft 365/Entra environment. Only the organization’s administrator can re‑enable it; nothing on the home network or device can fix this.

Because the account is provided through a college, the admin is the school’s IT department or help desk, not Microsoft support and not the home internet provider. Contact the college’s technical support using the school’s website (often under “IT Help Desk,” “Technology Services,” or similar) and provide the exact error, including:

    • Error code: AADSTS7000112
    • Application: One Outlook Web
    • App ID: 9199bf20-a13f-4107-85dc-02114787ef48

If unsure who that is, ask the person or office that originally gave the college Microsoft 365 account details; they can direct to the correct admin.

Until the admin fixes the disabled application, Outlook on the web for that school account will remain unavailable.
