    Hi, I'm John!

Creating a new Microsoft account will not transfer your data automatically. Things like purchases, subscriptions, OneDrive files, Outlook email, and Xbox data are usually tied to the original account and cannot be moved to a different account.

What you can sometimes do instead is add a new email as an alias and then make that the primary email for the same account. This lets you keep all your data while changing the sign-in email.

    You can try it here:

    https://account.live.com/names/Manage

    Just a warning:

It is Not recommended to delete Microsoft domain like @outlook.com, @hotmail.com, or @live.com. Ones a Microsoft domain address has been deleted, it cannot be recovered, added again, or recreated. Microsoft outlines this in the support page https://support.microsoft.com/office/add-or-remove-an-email-alias-in-outlook-com-459b1989-356d-40fa-a689-8f285b13f1f2 under the “Remove an email address” section in the “Important” note.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

    Regards,

    John J.D.
