I checked the backend and found no outages during the time you mentioned.
Additionally:
- Azure Status History for February 2026 shows no Front Door PIR on Feb 23.
If multiple Front Door profiles point to:
- The same App Service
- The same AKS / VM backend
- The same on‑prem / ExpressRoute / Firewall path
Then a backend slowdown or transient dependency issue will surface as simultaneous 5xx across all Front Doors, even though Front Door itself is healthy.

NOTE: Microsoft confirmed there was no Azure Front Door outage on Feb 23, 2026 around 1:30 PM PST. The 5xx errors were most likely caused by backend origin timeouts or a shared downstream dependency, not the Front Door service itself.
