    Hello @Vyas, Deep,

welcome to this moderated Azure community forum.

A deleted dashboard must be considered being lost.

To prevent loss of value, normally ARM, Bicep, CLI or the Rest Api could be used.

Unfortunately, this is not fully supported for ADX Dashboards.

My friend Wilco van de Velde came across a solution where the REST API could be used to deploy dashboards.

For as far as I know, this is an official solution. Please upvote this ADX wish for official automation support.

As an alternative, Both Azure Data Explorer and Azure Data Explorer Dashboards as fully supported in Microsoft Fabric via Eventhouse (KQL Database/ KQL Queryset) and Real-Time Dashboards. This is also fully supported with GIT integration (eg. via GitHub).

    Hi Vyas, Deep,

Sorry to hear about the trouble with your deleted ADX dashboard. Unfortunately, recovering a deleted Azure Data Explorer dashboard can be quite tricky, especially since accidental deletions can be irreversible. Since the delete operation happened only minutes ago, let's explore what you can do.

1.Check for Azure Resource Locks: Make sure that you have resource locks enabled. If the deletion lock is not in place, the dashboard may be recoverable through support action.

2.Recovery Process: If the resource was deleted recently, creating a support ticket is the best approach. It's a best-effort recovery, and while there's no guarantee of recoverability, it can take a few days to assess, or upgrade support plan we will help you for further process.

3.Follow the Professional Guidance: You can visit the Azure Data Explorer documentation for more detailed steps about data recovery and deletion: Recover data in Azure Data Explorer.

4.Regular Backups: Going forward, consider implementing regular backups or retention policies to help prevent future data loss. Setting up retention policies can help recover deleted resources more effectively in the future.

Hope this helps, Please let us know if you have any questions and concerns.
