Hi guys!

I have multiple searchers in my SharePoint On-Premise, one of them works correctly (the public one) because I have the same result source as default as in the query text.

Query text:

(Path:"https://[Moderator note: personal info removed]/PROCESSOS%20TERRITORIAL" OR Path:"https://[Moderator note: personal info removed]/PROCESSOS%20AP" OR Path:"https://[Moderator note: personal info removed]/PROCESSOS%20GIPSS" OR Path:"https://[Moderator note: personal info removed]/PROCESSOS%20HJ23") AND FileExtension:(docx OR doc OR xlsx OR xls OR pdf OR csv) AND IsDocument:1 AND {searchTerms?}

This looks the files in 4 different libraries that are in the main site. The thing I want to do now is create 4 different advanced searchers in private subsite, that looks into 4 different libraries separately.

How is it possible to get that search results advanced seracher to each private advanced library? Right now default results is Local SharePoint Results.

The public one works, but when trying to do the same in the privates, it doesn't show correctly the files I want to search. Is possible to get each advanced searcher linked to one of those result sources?

    Hi Charlie Martharper

    Thank you for reaching out to the Q&A Forum.

    Just to confirm what you’re trying to do: will you use a subsite and run a query that targets one of the four libraries (AP/CDT/GiPSS/HJ23), or are you trying to query a private library inside the subsite?

    Also, have you reindexed/crawled the content since creating or changing that subsite/library? In my testing, results often won’t appear until the site/library is set to appear in search, reindexed, and then included in a full crawl (and verified in the Crawl Log).

    One more thing: when scoping by Path, use the library URL (e.g., http://domain/domain/site/sub-site/sub-site-library/) rather than copying the full address-bar URL that includes /_layouts/15/start.aspx#/…

    If it still doesn’t work, please share your settings and scenario details so I can help troubleshoot more accurately.
