Entra ID Gallery App documentation: ServiceNow connector

Hello Community,

I would like to connect a ServiceNow instance to Entra ID for user provisioning, and would like to utilize the built in gallery app: https://marketplace.microsoft.com/en-us/product/entra-id-apps/aad.servicenow?tab=Overview

But before installing the app, our IT Security team needs to check it in more details, to see what exactly gets installed, what roles/access rights this application needs, and other security related checks.

I tried to find an official documentation about the app online, on learning portal, forums,etc.. as well as asked ServiceNow support if they have anything, but only a configuration guide is available. There's nothing about the app itself. Does someone know where to look/ask for such documentation?

I'm aware of the link Jimmy has provided, but it is a detailed guide on HOW to install the application and connect to ServiceNow. We are 1 step before that, and would like to investigate what this gallery app really is:)

The IT security team would need a documentation about the application itself, especially information about what access rights will this app have within Entra ID.

Hi Attila,

Yes there is detailed info on setitng up the Entra SSO with ServiceNow and you can follow and share the document with the IT Security Team, this is very detailed informative doc for this kind of process like App registration, roles etc.
